The eircom Spider Awards took place last night in the Burlington Hotel in Dublin.

Hailed as the "Oscars of the internet industry", the eircom Spider Awards honour Irish individuals and organisations for their outstanding achievements online and celebrating the successes of the Irish internet and digital media.

idevelop.ie was shortlisted in the “Listing Category”. It is a major achievement for us, especially as this is the first year we have been in existence. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our end users, for your continued support and feedback, which has enabled us to make the site as user friendly and informative as possible.

The night itself was a blast. All the major players in the Irish Internet industry were present. Jimmy Carr was the host for the evening and had everyone in stitches throughout. Dead pan is not the word. It turned out to be a very late night so we are a little tired today. But it was well worth it!!
